Last month we talked about Funky Shitaky Days, prioritizing words, phrases, criticisms and compliments. You had that time to yourself & family, away from electronics. Practiced Gratitude with every experience given to you and you are sorting your mental laundry like a PRO.
Frustrations aside, how do you transition from challenges? Do you become angry, irritated, 😤unable to think straight?
Anger is a good thing, if you utilize the emotion to give you that push you needed to transform or change something in your life.
For every challenge you face, or potential set back. I want you to come up with 3 Resolutions.
The purpose of this exercise is to get your mentality used to problem solving versus problem focused.
Our personal blocks are created when our minds get so stuck in limiting beliefs & affirmations, that our focus & mind become engulfed in "problem" mode.
That is a Big NO, NO.
We close our minds to possibility & opportunity when we are in problem mode because our minds are stuck in a problem versus thinking beyond into vision, goals, and solutions.
One way to develop your problem solving skills, or go with the flow mentality, is to think about what you want to achieve. Think of your challenges as an opportunity to develop 1,2, and 3 solutions.
A personal affirmation and conversation may be practiced something like this
I will send this manuscript to my agent this week, if I get a no from a publisher my goal will be to find 3 more places I can send my manuscript to.
I want to be more fit & healthy, I will schedule time to exercise 3-4 times a week for 20 minutes, if I miss a day, I can always pick up on the next day & continue my routine.
I want to save for a vacation, I will put away 100 dollars from every paycheck until I am able to take that vacation, if an unexpected expense comes up I will save at least 20.
I want to spend more time with family, I will watch less television, cut back on expenses and work less, or simply schedule quality time with friends, family, and loved one without electronics or agendas.
You get my drift.
Your personal affirmations & conversations should reflect what you want to create not what you don't want in your life.
The point of this exercise is to train your mind to create opportunity by shifting your focus into possibilities versus inabilities.
The best part about it, you don't have to be perfect. Not all days are perfect, nor do you have to solve everything in life.
Acceptance of what is and working from that point on will allow you to be thankful for this moment, as is, in order to create what will be.
